Residency September 11 - 17 2023

During the residency, I explored book structures that included Sculptural Concertina (with variations in page shape and size).  Double Needle Coptic (Ethiopian) and Single Sheet Coptic bindings.  I created books related to my art practice.  These books are stories and poems about my surroundings - my garden, walks and places I have visited.

I gained insight and experience not only in book making but also the importance of curating pages for visual appeal/impact guided by the knowledgeable and expert tuition - Adele Outteridge
